i tried many stuff in my backyard
almost everything without pungent smells attracted pests, and then there're animals...
only chinese chives are good, no pest at all and growing like weeds! but who can eat it every day! also mints, but it's just an ingredient.
peach tree only 1 year had some decent yield, plum one never ate even 1!
legumes are relatively okay, but soybean attracts lot sof small beetles with a smell like cilantro .
