One thing I learned from Americans is that their so-called elites or ‘intellectuals' are collectively very fair to the 'mob', not because of political correctness, but coming from a true belief of equality. Instead of being snobs, they work on improving the social structure such that the 'mobs' can be educated and make better judgement based on better access of information. This is essentially what Fang Zhouzi is doing to Chian, and also why he is so admirable, because this take so much sacrifice and currage.
