GMO Answers – A new resource for addressing questions about biotech



An industry-wide effort called GMO Answers launched today, marking the start of a new approach to addressing the increasing number of consumer questions about biotechnology. DuPont is sponsoring GMO Answers along with fellow biotechnology providers BASF, Bayer Crop Science, Dow AgroSciences LLC, Monsanto and Syngenta.

The foundation of GMO Answers is a new website, www.GMOAnswers.com. The site will serve as a forum for consumers to connect with farmers, scientists, health professionals and more on their most pressing questions. GMOAnswers.com is transparent about who is behind the effort and why, and the site makes it easy for visitors to post, vote on and comment on questions and to explore the basics of biotechnology.
