昨天第一次去学校参加faculty meeting (系里要求adjunct faculty也要参加
monthly meeting) ，会上一下就说起了杜克考试抄袭丑闻。老美教授都知道
作弊者大多为中国学生，隐讳地说这是否与different cultural background
有关。。。在坐的中国faculty面色难看，没人发言。

我忍不住，直率而言:“I disagree with this! There’s no cultural role
in this incident. Plagiarism is plagiarism, no matter who did it and
what culture he comes from. I received my undergraduate education
in China, and, we were lessened plagiarism is absolutely unacceptable
and there’s zero tolerance on this behavior at that time. I don’t
know what’s the situation over there now, but, to me, there shall be
no ground for plagiarism in any culture. If you claim plagiarism is
part of your culture, then stay with it and don’t bring it to here,
please!” 我反正是个adjunct faculty，不在乎别人看我是个楞头青。这帮无耻
的中国学生别犯我手里，有一个抓一个，绝不留情！
