高级形式应是the brightest 而不能用 the most bright 。这一基本规则的确
是”连中学生都知道的“。但是，语法规则是从语言实践中总结出来的，也因此
有很多例外。网上搜索most bright可以查到很多这样用的实例。网页

调，或者当单音节形容词与双音节或多音节形容词连用时，单音节形容词可以在
前面加more构成比较级、加most构成最高级，替代在形容词后加-er构成比较级、
加-est构成最高级的形式：

　　More and most are sometimes used with one syllable adjectives as 
an alternative to the -er/-est form when we particularly want to 
emphasize the comparison, or if the adjective occurs with another 
adjective which has more than one syllable, e.g.:

　　The icing was supposed to be pink and white, but it looked more 
red than pink.

　　That sofa might look nice, but this one is more soft and 
comfortable.
